After finally receiving my order after a nightmare with USPS mail. (Which is my only negative about Spiritus, still using a slow outdated government entity to ship premium gear) The LV-119 is Legit, did not expect it to be so lightweight! This is one of the if not best Plate Carrier on the market. Stitching, Material, and everything else is on point! I did get the Molle Tubes which are a little snug but I will be upgrading to the Axl advanced velcro tube adapter. Weaving the cummerbund was not that bad it only took about 15 minutes to weave and size everything. Oh and Spiritus Customer Service was top notch in my ordeal they stayed in contact and was willing to help in my assistance with my ordeal with USPS. Overall if you are thinking about getting this DO IT! Spiritus Systems makes some of the best gear on the Planet!
Without a doubt the best plate carrier out there. I will buy another once Spiritus makes them in M81 Woodland.
The military experimented on me with numerous plate carrier and flak configurations over the years and this blows away anything we were issued. Outstanding customer support as well - I made an error on my order, support helped me fix it within minutes, and the updated order arrived even earlier than it was supposed to. Would recommend to anyone.
Couldn't be happier with my order. The lv119 is top quality, works great, fits great, feels great.
Just purchased and set up my LV-119 overt front plate bag and LV-119 covert rear plate. The quality is phenomenal and seems very durable, with strong Velcro to attach the straps, cummerbund, patches etc. The carrier is basically sized perfectly for the plate size of your choosing, in my case medium, so be sure to know which size plate you want before purchasing. The fit is perfect. I’m a 5’7 battle gnome and the carrier is neither too large nor too small, I was surprised at how much mobility I had wearing the carrier while it was loaded with 4 mags, a medkit, a knife, and a couple tourniquets and tools. Comparing the size and capability of this carrier to the LBT6094 or crye JPC for example, the carrier proves to have just about the same loadout carrying capability in a much lower profile, much more comfortable system. The shoulder straps and plate bag are cut intelligently, making shouldering the rifle a breeze, so much so that it’s almost like you aren’t wearing a plate carrier. The carrier has an extremely small profile and can easily be scaled up or scaled down in seconds depending on your needs. Furthermore, it is extremely modular, this vest makes it very easy to attach or change components to match your mission. The multicam pattern is eye candy and when you buy it your friends will swoon over the sexy, high quality piece of equipment you have. Other times you might sit and stare at it for a couple hours, admiring the craftsmanship, usefulness, and looks of the item. All in all this carrier is fantastic and I would highly recommend.
I got tired of all my buddies making fun of me in their Crye and Ferro, so I got this and flexed on them. I am a large individual (I am absolutely yolked) and this fits perfect on me (Large). The stitching and material is superior and I would not hesitate to buy it again.
Awesome plate carrier set up. Easily one of my favorite plate carriers. Extremely slick, and comfortable. The best part is the customer service team that works hard.
im a big feller so i exxpected this to look like a fancy bib but it actually fits surprisingly well, covers all it needs to, super comfortable, this with the Overt Rear and Micro Fight chassis is just perfect. the wait is worth it.
NOTE: The LV/119 O V E R T Front Plate Bag requires a Rear Bag and Cummerbund for proper operation.
The LV/119 SYSTEM
The LV/119 SYSTEM is a group of products that work together to give end-users the ability to scale their equipment to their current needs. The fact that this is a cohesive system means that users can mix and match accessories in most cases. For example: One could take a C O V E R T Front or Rear Plate bag and use it with an O V E R T Front and Rear Plate Bag. Users may also also cross pollinate cummerbunds, shoulder covers, and other parts that will be available. The SYSTEM encompasses many parts, some of which are currently available and some that are in development, such as Back Panels of various types, MOLLE cummerbunds, First Spear TUBES™ integrations, and different placards.
The O V E R T shares the same profile as the C O V E R T plate bags but with modifications that make it more suitable for high profile operations. The front bag features a 3 Row / 4 Column MOLLE field that doubles as a 6” x 3” loop field. This may be used to attach End User Devices (EUDs), such as those made by KAGWERKS or Juggernaut Defense. The loop field may be used to mount placards, patches, and IR identifiers. The MOLLE can also be used to mount administrative pouches, frag grenade pouches, or anything else users may require quick need access to. Every front plate bag comes standard with sewn loops on the sides for attaching First Spear TUBES™ for use with our TUBES™ cummerbund.
Placard and Chest Rig Integration.
All LV/119 Plate Bags offer placard and chest rig integration via removable 1 Inch ITW NEXUS Buckles. These clips are removable, allowing users to reduce the signature of the plate bag if it is being worn under a cover shirt or being utilized in a low-profile role.
Push To Talk Support.
Each O V E R T front plate bag comes standard with a PTT/Porkchop Loop on either side.
Communication Cable Routing.
The Modern Warfighter and Law Enforcement Officer has a radio. To date, the majority of manufacturers have not taken end-user communications needs in to their design considerations - we endeavor to break that paradigm. The O V E R T front bag offers open shoulders to facilitate commo cable routing inside the plate bags and over the shoulders. It also offers small routing points by the 1 Inch ITW NEXUS buckles on the chest - easily accommodating PTT cable routing.
Plate Fitment.
The carrier was designed to fit United States Standard Issue SAPI cut plates, but it will fit other cuts as well as long as they fit within the specifications listed below. The bags were built to accommodate "thicker" plates, but they will not fit plates do not fall within the measurements listed.

Thickness - MAXIMUM of 1.20"
