Solid piece of kit (especially for LE)
This is a good rig. It is by no means perfect, I found that the front buckle straps would usually end up loosening over time but if I just twisted them, they'd work better. I was a swat officer on top of being a regular night shift patrol officer (also former USMC 0311). I wanted something that if the time called for it, I could throw a quick rig on, on top of my regular uniform (vest under uniform shirt). I used this a couple of times for real world use however; the most notieable was a hostage rescue in a wooded environment in practically no light night. With the rig and the way I had everything setup, I could not have asked for a better setup. My body camera fit perfectly in between the two buckles where the rig splits. I didn't have to worry about any Velcro snagging or unnecessary straps getting snagged on bushes. It really helps having the adjustability from the front for men and women who may have to wear a dedicated uniform and either are not allowed or don't have time to swap to a plate carrier. I highly recommend this kit. A very awesome feature is the inside magazine pouches, especially the ones that can fit extended handgun magazines. If you've got the coin, and especially if you're in a niche application like mine, it's worth a try.
