    Good but not great.

Shoulder straps are very well made with solid construction. I wouldn't expect anything less from Spiritus. I like that they're very thin and extremely light weight. The straps lay tightly against the body and you can barely feel them. There's no extra added bulk that might snag or get in the way when removing mags. It does the job it's intended to do without a lot of frills or excess weight. My main dislike is the ride height. I have a very thin frame at 6' tall, 165lbs and the straps make the rig hang very low on my body. When I adjust the straps so the "H" sits between my shoulders, the rig hangs down around my stomach. If I raise the rig up to where I want it, the "H" drops down to the middle of my back. Not being able to adjust the ride height is the biggest issue for me. I'm also not a big fan of the laser cut molle. I just like the stiffness of webbing a lot more. But it's a personal preference and a little nitpicky. Different users may like it a lot since the laser cut holes do offer an extremely modular mounting platform. Although I really would've liked to have some shock cord and retainers included so users can mount items right out of the box. Overall, it's another solid product from Spiritus. It's a simple, bomb-proof construction that will handle anything you can throw at it. I just really wish they had a way to adjust the ride height and added a couple strips of stiff webbing for those who like that option more. Including some shock cord and retainers for the system that's on there now would also be much appreciated.

Description

The Fat Strap MK4 is a universal H-harness solution designed to work with the Micro Fight Chassis, 34 A Split Chest Rig, and Thing 2 expansion chassis. This reduced profile design now includes an updated Squadron overlay panel with more horizontal mounting points for PTTs and other equipment, as well as shock cord holes for mounting other kit. A loop field patch on the back completes the Straps for placement of name tapes or IR Markers. Brilliance in the Basics means that we constructed these without complicated yoke systems or unnecessary features.

The Fat Strap MK4 is a single strap. You do NOT need to order two to complete your Micro Fight or 34A Split Chest Rig. You only need to order ONE.

NOTE: The FAT STRAP is part of our Micro Fight and 34A Chest Rig Systems. This item does not include the chassis, back strap, magazine inserts, or any other accessories.

Some images are shown with optional accessories, sold separately.
