In 2014, Adam and I were both in Afghanistan. I was deployed with the 82nd Airborne, and Adam was working as a contractor after serving in the Army. We knew that if we were serious about building Spiritus into what we believed it could be, we couldn't make excuses—even while fighting halfway across the world.
Back at the FOB after missions, while everyone else slept, I’d clean my gear, fire up a laptop, and design our first T-shirts and website. We had the initial batch printed state-side by our partner, Nichole, who shipped a few back out to Afghanistan. I threw one on a teammate, stood him in front of the Hescos behind our tent, and snapped the picture that became our very first ad.
Twelve years later, we’re bringing back the Original Alpha Wolf Shirt for a limited 2026 reissue. A piece of history from where it all started.
