It is what it is
I just have one minor complaint. Since it's almost impossible to adjust while you have it on, a half inch of elastic would be great to add a little bit of freedom when moving around.

This works great for its intended purpose. I was a little concerned that the thickness and width of the strap would cause it to bundle up and cut into you, but I have not had any issues yet. Overall, I would recommend.

Spiritus doing what they do best. It’s a simple piece, but plenty have screwed it up before. Spiritus does it right, with quality materials and the best customer service in the game.
As with their chest rigs and plate carriers, their accessories are well made and reliable.
First piece to starting a chest rig. Really awesome material and quality, fast shipping. Love the free stickers too.
Get this one, it works and keeps everything in place. Plenty of adjustment for even they most "tactical" of operators. Yes, even for those midnight basement larping sessions. 10/10
High quality piece of kit. Keeps everything else in place.
The back strap looks and feels like it’s made out of quality materials. I’m glad it was worth the wait, and boy did I wait. After creeper-status stalking of the website for stock updates, I was finally able to snag one. It completed my chest rig and I’m happy with it. I’m a patrol officer and rifle sharpshooter that used to snap on a leg rig for my two AR mags and 2 pistol mags, but that rig slowed me down when I had to sprint between cover. The chest rig gives me more mobility and agility. My one improvement for the back strap, specifically, would be an addition of a quick release buckle that would allow me to loosen and tighten the back strap quickly. A buckle similar to one used by Frank Proctor’s rifle sling would make this perfect. That would allow me to throw it over any vest or clothes I may have on and cinch it down quickly.
Great quality!
It may seem difficult to screw up length of webbing with a couple sliders and buckles, but it's surprisingly common. Spiritus Systems did it right. High quality materials and components, and generous length and range of adjustment. Not sure if I'll actually need it on my chest rig, since they designed the harness system so well, but I'm glad I have it in case I need it.
It's pretty simple: if your setting up a Spiritus Chest Rig, you're going to need this and a Fat Strap.
- The Back Strap provides the retention necessary to keep the Chassis close to your body. The back strap attaches to the lower buckles on your Micro Fight or 34A Chest Rig and wraps around your lower back.
- This strap can also be used as a sling if you wish to carry your Micro Fight Chassis in a cross-body configuration as a "Go Bag."
- The Back Strap has a maximum adjustment of 36 inches and a minimum adjustment of 8 inches.
NOTE: The BACK STRAP is part of the Micro Fight or 34A Chest Rig System. This item does not include the chassis, shoulder straps (Fat Straps), Magazine Inserts, or any other Accessories.
The BACK STRAP is a necessary component of our chest rig systems when running as a stand-alone system.
