Perfection. This thing makes ALL the difference. You can wear your plates tight to body, but still breathe good when you're active because of their elastic material and the bungie hook ups. PLUS getting to load up extra mags and such, which doesn't throw the balance off at all, even if you only have one side filled up.

I went From a Warrior assault systems dcs carrier to this the LV119. Not only can I carry Extra mags on either sides of the cummberbun i can Carry other similar size equipment . It’s Light weight Very minimalist can’t wait to run it in a Rifle/carbine course
This is an outstanding cummerbund, intuitive design that has obviously been well thought out and tested. It's strongest points are it's simplicity and quality build of materials. The price point for this cummerbund is unbelievable...not only was a competitors forever out of stock but was almost $50 more which made me want to Crye. After a bottle of Jameo fueled research I came across this gem and have been on cloud nine comfort level since....thank you Spiritus Systems for another outstanding product!
Every single inch of this product feels high quality, the cummerbund wears comfy, holds magazines extremely nicely, and feels like it will last a lifetime. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.
I love this cummerbund, the plate bags are held tight against my body, but can still expand and move as needed. The LV119 will always be my go to plate carrier!
Great product and fast shipping
It took a minute to figure outhow and what holes to lace the shock cord through. The cord could prbably be a bit longer but other than that the cummerbund is comfortable and secure. the system as a whole is light, compact and appears to be well made. Other than how the cummerbund is secured everything else is easily adjustable.
I'm finding this cummerbund to be quite versatile. When I want to run the plate carrier slick, with no ammo up front, the pockets on the cummerbund give you the option of keeping a couple rifle mags, a radio, and tourniquet still accessible. It too can be run slick for maximum comfort and low-visibility. Make sure you choose the SIZE that fits your needs!

The 5-Inch Elastic Hook/Loop Tape (HLT) Cummerbund is a simple and effective solution for professionals who need to carry and have rapid access to additional ammunition and equipment on their sides while still maintaining a low profile. Side loading is great for ground vehicle and low visibility operations. Elastic cells are 3 inches wide and are built around standard 5.56 Magazines, such as the PMAG. Elastic cummerbunds prevent user fatigue while worn for long durations, as they stretch with the body during active maneuvers.
By using 5-Inch Elastic, we allow for the stable carriage of taller items as they are held more securely. The sewn-on pull tabs allow for the use of the Bungee Retention Kit to securely hold items for HALO, OTB, or other kinetic operations. The tabs also allow users to pull on the cell and make it easier to load and extract equipment.
The Elastic HLT Cummerbund features premium, Berry Amendment Compliant materials sourced from industry leaders in textiles manufacturing. It offers superior construction processes, including triple stitching on the elastic cells to prolong life and prevent cell failure when stuffed with-non standard or oddly shaped items.
Cummerbund Attachment
The cummerbund attachment is a proprietary system that allows for the use of all of our cummerbunds, as well as allowing for a wide range of adjustment. The cummerbund attaches inside the plate bag, which is advantageous for a few reasons.
1. There is no external mounting that can get snagged or rip off when exiting vehicles in haste.
2. The design creates a smooth profile when worn underneath clothing.
3. Hook & loop is not utilized as an attachment method on the rear plate bag. Hook & loop wears out over time and is a generally less-than-optimal attachment method when not supported in other ways. Hook & loop doesn't handle weight well and it sticks to everything, especially cloth seats.
SIZING
The cummerbund comes in two sizes: Size 1 and Size 2, each offering up to 14 inches of total adjustment. This allows for a proper fitment for all body types.
To figure our appropriate sizing, take measurement of the waist at the belly button. When measuring, users should dress as they would while actually wearing the carrier. For example, if the user is operating in arctic environments, they should be wearing cold weather equipment when measuring.
Size 1: 28" to 42"
Size 2: 40" to 54"
