POSITION

Buildings and Grounds Manager

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain Spiritus Campus buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment with an overall high level of physical appearance and good working order. 
  • Receive, manage, and process work order requests. 
  • Ensure company vehicles are properly maintained and safe for operation. 
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks as necessary, such as painting of interior or exterior building surfaces, repair or replacement of damaged fixtures or surfaces, replacement of damaged ceiling tiles, replace light bulbs and ballasts or repair light fixtures, etc. 
  • Lead and manage internal maintenance crew, overseeing proper execution of daily tasks of janitorial and maintenance staff. 
  • Establish and maintain unified plan of fixtures that is conscious of use/workload, maintenance and repair of fixtures, and availability of parts.  
  • Assemble and install new fixtures and furniture. 
  • Oversee the overall cleanliness of the facility, aiding janitorial staff and/or maintenance technician in their duties 
  • Assist management in understanding and implementing methods of achieving high cleanliness standards in areas cleaned and maintained by other employees. 
  • Ensure functionality of common-use fixtures such as doorknobs, hinges, and latches, sinks and faucets, toilets, and tank/tank fill valves. 
  • Perform periodic scheduled maintenance such as replacing filters or other HVAC duties. 
  • Perform periodic inspection of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, function of fire doors, etc. 
  • Maintain beautification standards of exterior grounds. 
  • Proactively identify and perform preventative maintenance, as necessary. 
  • Coordinate, assist, and oversee work performed by outside contractors or workers. 
  • Inspect assigned areas, correcting or reporting safety hazards. 
  • Maintain inventory of supplies; reordering as needed. 
  • Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools and equipment.  
  • Serve as Safety Officer 
  • Establish and enforce property safety procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with OSH regulations, to include lockout/tagout, machine guarding, utility maintenance, emergency equipment and storage, MSDS, life and safety requirements, emergency egress clearance, etc... 
  • Operate manual and powered equipment, as necessary. 
  • Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and kneeling for up to and including 8 hours.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned by company leadership. 
  • Utilize appropriate software, such as Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365 systems to facilitate job duties.  

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Motivated professional and independent self-starter with strong work ethic to contribute to team success and company vision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and projects effectively
  • Computer literate to include experience with Microsoft Office suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
  • Presents a professional, welcoming presence to co-workers.
  • Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and kneeling for up to and including 8 hours.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior buildings and grounds experience.
  • Prior safety officer or occupational safety experience.
  • Prior program management experience.

POSITION

Warehouse Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, manage, and direct inbound and outbound operations, personnel, processes and documentation, to include but not limited to, advanced warehouse receiving and shipping functions such as ordering, picking, processing, verifying, and packing.
  • Operates with autonomy in managing and organizing inbound and outbound daily workflows such as: ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying of goods; and outbound ground and freight shipping to ensure efficient and effective operation. 
  • Maintains quality control and accurate inventories of raw goods and finished goods by following established policies and overseeing their proper execution, such as FIFO methodology and routine cycle counts.
  • Responsible for issuing purchase orders to maintain inventory of raw goods, supplies, finished goods, resale products, and/or any other applicable expenses.
  • Maintains good vendor relationships with current vendors and continually explore and create new vendor relationships.
  • Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders. 
  • Manages receiving and shipping processes relating to various carrier protocols, such as but not limited to LTL freight, ground, express, etc.
  • Manages and is accountable for any necessary warehouse documentation for daily operations.
  • Coordinate inventory needs with all departments in the company, such as but not limited to production, research & development, marketing, administration, and quality assurance.
  • Responsible for the successful meeting of inbound and outbound timelines. 
  • Manages a clean and maintained warehouse space. 
  • Effectively communicates with internal and external customers/vendors to complete any necessary inbound / outbound support functions. This includes collaborating and communicating with any departments of the company, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Executes product lifecycle warehouse processes and documentation for new product launches.
  • Oversee operator level maintenance of any warehousing equipment and coordinate higher-level maintenance of equipment.
  • Develop, manage and oversee policies and procedures regarding any warehousing responsibilities, such as but not limited to, safety policies and procedures and the utilization of machinery such as the lifts, vehicles, equipment, and/or any other company assets.
  • Assists in hiring, on-boarding, training, and mentoring inbound/outbound team associates on appropriate machines, processes, and products.
  • Evaluates staff on job performance to provide professional development and corrective action feedback.
  • Support and report to the Master Scheduler in his/her duties.
  • Utilize appropriate software to perform warehouse functions, such as but not limited to Bigcommerce, Desktop Shipper, Microsoft Office Suite and/or Microsoft Dynamics systems to facilitate job duties.
  • Enforce all company policies regarding supporting staff.   
  • Initiate, manage, and execute process improvement initiatives that may include workflow, workstation organization, and time management independently and in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Director and other management staff in the development of quality assurance and quality control policies, procedures, and documentation.   
  • Flexible to work overtime during high volume peak holiday season and year-round as needed.

OPEN PRODUCTION POSITIONS 

 

Sewing Machine Operator

About you: You’re a professional. You are committed to producing products that are of high quality. You’re punctual with your time and familiar with working in a production facility. 

 

Responsibilities

  •  Performs basic sewing functions.
  • Able to sew straight lines and basic geometric shapes.

  • Able to assemble different types of textile materials into a finished product.

  • Able to read and interpret sewing technical packets and follow instructions.

  • Maintains quality control and takes appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.

  • Able to identify components and workings of sewing machine and perform basic daily maintenance.

 

Qualifications

  • Highly detailed person with good organization skills, logical thinker with strong follow-up and follow-through.
  • Ability to work 40 Hours a week. 

  • Ability to sit for long durations at various sewing machines. 

  • Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs of weight.
