 PRODUCTION POSITIONS 

 

 Sewing Machine Operator

 About you: You’re a professional. You are committed to producing products that are of high quality. You’re punctual with your time and familiar with working in a production facility. 

 

Responsibilities

  •  Performs basic sewing functions.
  • Able to sew straight lines and basic geometric shapes.

  • Able to assemble different types of textile materials into a finished product.

  • Able to read and interpret sewing technical packets and follow instructions.

  • Maintains quality control and takes appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.

  • Able to identify components and workings of sewing machine and perform basic daily maintenance.

 

Qualifications

  • Highly detailed person with good organization skills, logical thinker with strong follow-up and follow-through.
  • Ability to work 40 Hours a week. 

  • Ability to sit for long durations at various sewing machines. 

  • Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs of weight. 



 

Production Assistant

About you: You’re good with your hands. You have always been good at assembling things. You have a keen eye for identifying problems and solving them quickly. You have no problem working in a fast paced environment where you may be doing something different everyday. 

 

Responsibilities 

 Performs basic and advanced product assembly operations (buckles, zippers).

  • Performs basic and advanced production preparation (cutting, kitting).

  • Performs basic and advanced quality control and packaging.

  • Operates automated sewing and cutting equipment.

  • Execute materials cut orders.

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write in the English language.
  • Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs of weight.  

 

 

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE

 

Spiritus Systems is currently searching for a Shipping Associate position. Spiritus Systems is a rapidly growing veteran-owned small business that manufactures tactical nylon equipment based in Aberdeen, NC. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, hardworking individual to join our team with the potential for growth and development. Job Description 

The shipping associate will perform basic shipping line functions and collaborate with the shipment and receipt of products. They will be trained with the procedural information required to perform as an associate in the outbound shipping department. They will support the Outbound Shipping Manger. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic shipping line functions to include picking, processing, and packing.  
  • Uses computer skills to operate shipping specific programs.
  • Understands packing slips and able to make necessary adjustments to outbound orders.   
  • Read support tickets and make adjustments to outbound orders.  
  • Maintains pre-shipment request spreadsheet.  
  • Ensures pickup process is accurate and easy (UPS, USPS, FedEx) .
  • Collaborates and communicates with coworkers, customer service representative, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.  

 

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, independent, highly detailed person with good organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Computer literate; proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • Logical thinker with strong follow-up and follow-through 
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week 
  • Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs of weight 
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
